2. Caution: The tin-plate can conducts heat efficiently and will become very hot within minutes of ignition. Never handle the can while lit. Never use near loose paper, decorations, or open fire. DO NOT leave the active product unattended during service.
3. Extinguish: DO NOT attempt to blow out the flame, as this is ineffective and unsafe. Instead, place the original plug upside down over the opening to instantly starve the flame of oxygen, or use a dedicated metal snuffer. Always allow the extinguished can to cool for at least 10 minutes before touching, moving, or resealing for storage.
